Marcus R. Schlundt Bodien is an Associate with our firm. He began his legal career working in insurance defense but now exclusively represents plaintiffs in all aspects of employment law, including matters involving overtime, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. His litigation efforts contributed to a multi-million dollar settlement for an employee who faced retaliation for complaints about discrimination.

Marcus is a Southern California native and grew up swimming at the Mission Viejo Nadadores. He attended California State University, Fullerton, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He then attended Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, and earned his J.D., graduating magna cum laude. During law school, Marcus was an Associate Editor of Drexel Law Review, Volumes XIII and XIV. He also authored and published a note in Drexel Law Review, Volume XIV, titled “This Meeting is Being Recorded: ‘Zoom’-ing Away from the Third-Party Doctrine,” which discusses constitutional privacy implications in employment and academic institutions.

Marcus’s interests include swimming, martial arts, bass guitar, and music. Above all, Marcus loves spending time with family, including his two young children.
